Our Young People
We want to encourage young people to our church. They are our future. Firstly, we want their experience of our church to be one in which they are safe and happy. All our volunteer helpers have been DBS checked and trained to give the best possible care of our precious children. Secondly, we want them to feel at home in our church, so that it becomes a place where they feel comfortable and are able to associate it with good memories. Thirdly, we want them to grow in the knowledge of God and his son, Jesus Christ and to be aware of the teachings of Jesus, the love of God and the Fellowship that his Holy Spirit can bring.
JESUS AND ME
Our Sunday School, (Jesus and Me) now meets in the Link Room in Church during the 11 am service on a Sunday except for the 1st Sunday in the month. Children join the service for the last hymn and to tell the congregation what they have been doing. So the children are now not so far away from their family in church. All children are very welcome, please speak to Helen Wood for more information.
TEA AND TOAST
Tea and Toast is for mums to be, mums, dads and their bumps, babies and small children. Every Friday morning from 9 - 10 am in term-time in Hampton Church Hall. A social occasion run by the church with tea (or coffee) and toast - toys are provided for the children to play.
Come and meet others and relax for an hour.
